About “E” graves
Mr. Graves is an experienced and dedicated attorney, who has focused almost his entire legal career to accident and injury cases throughout Tennessee. Graduating magna cum laude (with high honors) from the University of Tennessee College of Law, he began his legal career in Nashville in 2001 at a respected regional law firm. In 2004, he established his accident and injury law firm in Cookeville, which is strategically centrally located between the Music City, Knoxville, and Chattanooga. For over two decades, Mr. Graves has dedicated his practice to helping people injured in accidents and supporting families who have lost loved ones due to negligence. He prioritizes client experience and results, maintaining a firm that is large enough to tackle the most complex cases while offering personalized attention to every client.
Outside of law, Mr. Graves is a devoted husband and father who enjoys coaching his children’s baseball and football teams. A seasoned athlete, he competed in multiple triathlons including a 140.6-mile Ironman. As an instrument-rated private pilot, he utilizes airport conference rooms across the southeast for client meetings, expert consultations, and depositions.

Edward M. Graves III began his legal career in 2001 at a large Nashville firm. He founded his law firm, Edward M. Graves III Accident & Injury Law, in 2004, and has become a trusted resource for individuals seeking justice and full compensation after unexpected accidents and injuries.
From our modest beginnings in a portion of a small, old building over 20 years ago, we grew very quickly due to the demand for personalized and quality representation in accident and injury cases. In the following 20+ years, we have become one of the most recognizable injury law firms in the region, and we believe that’s because of the way we treat our clients with compassion and respect while fighting for them every step of the way to obtain the best outcome for their case, and due to the results we have obtained.
